stories in silver

Rooted in the Sahel, our brand preserves Tuareg silver craft and heritage.
Our pieces are made to protect the wearer on their journey through this fast world.
A talisman to protect you on your journey.
The name Aza Laye
“Aza Laye” comes from Azalai; the word used for ancient caravans that once crossed the Sahara, carrying salt, silver, and stories.
“Laye” is the name of Abdoulaye, the Touareg silversmith whose hands give shape to every piece.
We changed Laï to “Laye”, short for Abdoulaye, the Touareg silver master that gives life to every piece Aza Laye piece.
A portal between past and present, tradition and modernity.
Symbol for wholeness and permanence.
Art passed down from father to son; once used to forge weapons for protection, and ornaments for guidance and belonging.
Silver pieces used to help its wearer find the way through the desert, and told others where they came from.
