The name Aza Laye

“Aza Laye” comes from Azalai; the word used for ancient caravans that once crossed the Sahara, carrying salt, silver, and stories.
“Laye” is the name of Abdoulaye, the Touareg silversmith whose hands give shape to every piece.

We changed Laï to “Laye”, short for Abdoulaye, the Touareg silver master that gives life to every piece Aza Laye piece.

A portal between past and present, tradition and modernity.

Symbol for wholeness and permanence.
